Geulle-Boven is located on the plateau above the Maas valley and consists of the hamlets of Hussenberg, Snijdersberg, and Stommeveld. Between Geulle-Boven and Geulle-Beneden lies the Bunderbos, an elongated sloping forest that clearly separates the two areas. By Dutch standards, there is a significant elevation difference between Geulle-Boven (108 m) and Geulle-Beneden (40 m).
